No election observer beaten or killed in Panjsher

KABUL (Pajhwok): Rumours regarding the torture and killing of an observer of the State Builder team by supporters of CEO Dr. Abdullah in central Panjsher province are baseless.

False information:

Amin Yousufzai, a social media user, wrote on his Facebook page: “A huge crime, Abdullah supporters have beaten an observer of Ashraf Ghani’s team to death in Panjsher province.”

True information:

The governor’s spokesman Mohammad Mansour Anabi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the report was groundless and nothing like this had happened in Panjsher.

“This is social media propaganda, no incident of this nature happened in Panjsher and the polling process is underway on normal note,” he added.
